How do I remove the electrical smell that keeps infusing with the water in my new electric kettle?

I bought a morphy richards 43012 stainless steel electric kettle and ive boiled it like 20times and ive tried putting bakin soda in the water and still every cup of tea is really overpowered by the smell of electrical burning....
