TEXgourmet is really excited about this new product we are
implementing for 2008 that we call Meals-by-Mail. We take the guess
work out of feeding your family by shipping ready to mix meal kits.
We know you'll be delighted by the taste and the time and money you
save by using Meals-by-Mail.
Inspired by the 4 meals in 4 minutes program each meal kit
includes
- Easy cooking instructions and recipe with suggested sides
- A one gallon size freezer bag
- A suggested shopping list
- Our famous Homemade Gourmet mix
Basically you add your meat (chicken, pork, turkey, beef, etc.) of about 4 to 8 servings. Then most of our recipes will only ask for one more essential ingredient such as a can of soup, or a cup of salsa, or a can of diced tomatoes. The next part is important. Seal and smoosh the bag. As the liquid mixes with our selected seasonings the rich flavors are released and you basic chicken is on it's way to becoming a tasty dish. Then just freeze. We highly recommend preparing these meals right after you get back from the grocery store. It makes unpacking the groceries much easier and in just minutes you've prepared meals for the week. Using the shopping list we provide you you'll have everything you need when you return home.
When meal time comes you should have thawed your freezer bag and now you can cook your meal on the grill, in the oven, or in a slow cooker. We also recommend some side items for you. See our online demonstration of the Meals-by-Mail program to see exactly how easy it is.
The Meals-by-Mail kits are packaged based on a weekly need of 6 meals for just $24 per week. Shipping to the US 48 is $9 and you may order up to 4 weeks at a time without additional shipping charges.
