What type of gourmet snacks/treats are best for putting in a basket for a romantic weekend getaway?

I'm going to a beach front hotel for the weekend for my 2nd year wedding anniversary and want to make sure we have a few treats.
preferably things that i can buy that won't really perish...

Traditionally, the 2nd wedding anniversary is celebrated with cotton. So, how about some cotton candy?

A nice mix of sweet and savory would be great in your basket. Brownies, snack mix, cheese, olives, bread, fresh fruit, that kind of thing.
